When I got home from work last Thursday, I was greeted by my boyfriend Micah, dozens of candles, an archway of fairy lights, flowers, and a canvas reading “will you marry me?” He picked out a perfect ring (with approval from my mom and BFF Jess), a 1.5 carat, cruelty-free diamond in the coveted Tiffany setting. It was everything I had ever dreamed of.
I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. I’m still getting used to calling him my fiancé, and myself his.
Friends for 6 years, now getting married. I didn’t expect that I would someday be here with him, but I wouldn’t trade him for anyone else in the world. I can’t wait to build my life with him, for the rest of my life.
